Congrats to Kapil Dev and his team for celebrating 25 years of lifting the world cup in 1983. The BCCI organized a party to specially felicitate the players of the winning team at Delhi. As it was expected that there willl be strains of divide between the team due to rival ICL, the story went opposite. All the team members hugged each other and there was friendly punching to mark the bond of friendship.
Sunil Gavaskar carried the ball which was used during the world cup, though its autographs had faded, the shine still remains. We can surely expect the team members get a bit emotional and Kapil Dev kept up our expectations by making his speech while others were recalling the glorious past.
My heartiest congrats to the team which did a magic, a wonder, a national pride !! We should expect our youngsters to come up not just not playing for money for the country. Cricket in our country has become a money show and the recent IPL showed how our players were auctioned.
Besides I would also like to showcase the pathetic situation of other sports of India. Our Hockey Team, which has even won a gold medal in Olympics failed to qualify for the Olympics this time. KPS Gill is the person most responsible for the mess, he humiliated all the players without any shame. He should be even thrown out of the country. It is due to people like KPS Gill, our countrymen dont send their children to sports fearing Gill is ready to use everyone for his personal advantages. Down you! KPS Gill. You spoilt the country’s national sport and dont have the guts to admit it. Now thanks that Suresh Kalmadi has dissolved Indian Hockey Federation, now even the spirits of deceased Indian hockey players may lie in peace.

This post isnt meant for specifically bashing the news channels, its instead to highlight the dropping standards of the Indian media. Newspapers are still a bit pure when compared to news channels, but the latter’s situation has gone so worse that only one word comes to my mind – OMG!
The most crap news channels which serve nothing except shit are India TV (the leader) followed Aaj Tak and then STAR News. NDTV used to be my favorite at one time but now I feel like switching the channel when it also dropped like to those petty “Mirch Masala” tactics only to lose faith in thousasand or lakh of viewers.
Just for a case take Arushi Murdur Case, these news channels have highlighted the story to such a large extent that I feel sick opening the TV and even the reporters go so much into private affairs which is truely unethical. That day is not far off that even when a dog dies, these news reporters will rush to take the live coverage ( oh, sorry maybe Ariel live coverage
)
Most of these news channels re 24 hours, which make one fact clear – Having some new or the other news is not possible, so even if something trivial happens, they leave no chance to make it a sensational breaking news. Even sometimes they have to look into the news archives for older news to keep their live feeds running.
So the question is how shall we tell them to report properly? What should they telecast so that people show their loyalty and belief? Some which I can suggest are ” Show some good news, nice achievement which can inspire the newer generation“. Just showing the news of people dying, floods, suicide, murdurs and rapes, they cant increase their TRP above a threshold and even if it increases, its at the cost of loyal followers.
Rest I would like people to suggest. Come On! Media is the fourth pillar of the constitution.

It was a red letter day in the history of Indian company acquisitions. Tata Motors was selected the preferred bidder to acquire two British iconic Car manufacturers Land Rover and Jaguar. The trade unions of the two companies and Ford, the current owner of these two approved Tata Motors keeping in mind the history and creditability of the companies by looking back at the history.
According to the agreement, Ford will continue to provide vehicles components and other technologies to keep these two heritage car companies alive and going on. The lives and employment of thousand of workers are at stake and after acquisition, hopes have rekindled of the better days amongst the employees.
The deal costs Tata $2.3 billion, one of the biggest acquisition made by an Indian company abroad, after successful acquisition of Tetley Tea brand by Tata’s. Indian multinationals are stepping forward to make their presence felt all over the world, the results are quite exciting. Until now India was viewed as a third world country which was not capable of even starting technological advanced plants. After this acquisition India showcases itself as a strong market force which cannot be ignored.
So finally summing up, after IT sector its the chance of automobile sector to showcase its strength in the International market. Hope this trend continues.

It has been years since Women Reservation Act was first drafted and tried to be presented in the Parliament. Thanks to some greedy and selfish parties who tried their best that this bill never becomes an act. The most importnant and prominent parties opposing it are Mulayam Singh’s “Samajwadi Party” and Laloo’s “Rashtriya Janata Dal“. Theese are those people who are just beating round the bush and making unnecessary demands to change the bill only to delay it in each Parliament session.
I can remember some years back Laloo had demanded reservation inside Women Reservation for the backward sections of the society. Are they really serious? Or is it a way to delay it forever. What will happen if women get a third of their seats reserved? These parties who have lots of corrupted leaders may not find any place to satisfy themselves. The scope of robbing the public’s money would greatly diminish. This is the main reason for their opposition. For parties which are really for the bill should implement women empowerment in their own parties and level.
A day back BJP made an announcement in its “National Council” that it would give 33% reservation to women in party posts. No consensus was reached in giving reservations in “Parliamentary Board” which is the highest decision making body in the party. Atleast this is a good move. Now we can expect more women in active politics, and and in coming days they may even find their place into “Parliamentary Board” without even quotas. BJP has really showed its willingness to uplift the women, atleast a willingness is enough at this time when other parties are trying their best to suppress them.
Ms. Sushma Swaraj said:
This council session will go down as a historic one for this reason and it will be mentioned in the history of women’s empowerment in India.
BJP wants to expand it Women’s Wing to bring more women in politics mainstream, till now a very few of them come on their own. Many of them are here in active politics due to family reasons or some or the other tradition. Bringing a women from the grounds is a very tough work at the present scenario in our country.
Now the next work for BJP is to firmly press the Women Reservation Act even though it does not provide quotas for backward classes women. Where is Congress? It alliance has the majority, BJP is ready, then why cant it be passed? Who is creating the hurdles? Why they should suffer due to some mindless politicians?
The move of BJP is highly appreciable. Its like setting a standard or creating a milestone. Others can follow, provided they are really sincere.Hope Leftists dont protest against this bill now after BJP came supporting it. Still we cant say, communists are chameleon colored, nobody knows when they change their stand and start accusing BJP of misguiding the people and claim themselves the real saviors of Women. It is their history and they know pretty well how to repeat it.

Yes! The Tatas has done it again. After being awarded the third best corporate giant for treating its employees with great respect, their success story does not stop. Today they rolled out the cheapest car of the world named “Nano” which means that the car is small enough and still upholds the technology in the car market.
Till now the cheapest car in India is Maruti 800, Nano is set forth to give a strong competition to all major low priced cars in that segment and the two-wheeler market. The price of the car is one lakh INR or $2500. This was actually a dream of the present chairman of Tata Group -Ratan Tata to roll out the “common man’s car”. He narrated how he felt when he saw a family on a scooter on wet roads and said to himself “The Whole family is in danger”.
The new car is still not free from attack from narrow minded people accusing it of low quality and some cooked up allegations. Is the Tata Group so foolish as their critics that they would risk their name and fame just for cheap play? The name of Tata is held in high esteem in whole of India and the world. Its more than a century old corporate house, they are also responsible to setting up the first steel plant in India.
Some of the fears after this car hits the roads are quite obvious. They include the situation of roads in this already congested infrastructure. The pollution level may rise and India may soon need to beef up its crude oil import. Out of these three fears only last one is genuined, car gives less mileage than two-wheelers. The situation of roads is not the responsibility of Tata’s but of the government, so how cheap is it to blame the Tatas? The pollution level may decline as this car is less polluting than two-wheelers.
The engine of this miracle is rear mounted, has quite more inner space than other cars in this segment, no hand brake and fog lights. Spare parts of total eight companies are used in making it with inputs of hard work of around 500 young engineers.

Steve Bucknor may one of the most hated cricket official (umpire/referee) in India. Remember India’s tour in South Africa in 2002? When match referee Mike Dennis made a new record when he punished 6 Indian players and banned some from playing in the next test. It erupted one of the biggest row in history of cricket. The board intervened and finally the matter was settled.
This time Bucknor is the center of the story. He has been stranded alone in a corner as most of the umpires hold the view that “Bucknor should quit”. It was due to the intervention of BCCI (though it was late), then ICC sacked this biased umpire from standing in the next tests. People may argue that umpires are also human and can make mistakes. The question still remains unanswered- “11 wrong decisions in the test and all went against India”. Even the third umpire made one mistake. This is not a just a coincidence but India is being the center of attack.
Another such controversy was of Harbhajan Singh calling Symonds a “monkey”! It was racist? Can you ever believe that an Indian can issue racist remarks when they have long faced such oppression. They know the pains of this tradition. Gandhiji was thrown out of train in South Africa in his days. His *satyaraha* led to radical changes in the society. We can say that India is still the victim of racism. Even though Sachin said that he didnt hear anything, umpires denied having heard anything,no audio proof, still match referee imposed a three match ban on Harbhajan. On what grounds? Is match referee too with Australia?
The Aussies are also to be blamed. The controversial catch out is the most shocking moment of the match. Even though the team knew that the ball had tipped, Ponting showed how low can he fall and said the umpire that they have really taken the catch. Liars! Shame on you, you dont know what is cricket! You are the winners not champions, King of Sledging.
Finally India cant play with eleven players against a fifteen player team. Its injustice!

Taslima Nasreen is again in news! This time due to the courtesy of our great Central Minister “Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi”, who claims that Taslima should apologize to Muslims with folded hands for her writings. He claims that her work has hurted the sentiments of millions of Muslims in India. He even hints that her new book may be banned to protect the so called secular face of India.
Some question remain unanswered. It was the same government who filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that Ramayana is just a fiction and Lord Ram does not exist. Didnt this hurt the sentiments of nearly a billion Hindus in India? Why all these double standards? Looks like a clear signs of cheap Muslim appeasement. The secular forces are always feared of losing Muslim votes whom they have kept in bad situation for more than 50 years. Many intellectual people ask “Congress and its allies always show themselves as champions for the cause of Muslims! Then even after 50 years why their situation so bad?” The answer is very simple. If they had progressed, the pseudo secular forces would not fool them any furthur. Its quite obvious that people who have got mainstream education tend to understand the world properly.
This policy of the so called secular forces is surely going to ruin the country in the long run. If our country wants to become a developed country till 2020, these people have to get out of their narrow mentality and think of the country as a whole. May God provide them wisdom.

Our country got a lot of so called secularists. But the well educated section of our society is still thinking whether they still do care about the secular fabric of our country. The biggest players in the field is Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD and Congress. Congress has always tried to project itself as the champion for the cause of protecting this country’s secularism. Is it really so? Can Congress answer the following question?
They arranged 5% reservations for Muslims in Andhra Pradesh a few years back. It was not only unethical but also unconstitutional. It was later scrapped off by the High Court, but some questions remained unanswered! Why did congress to do? Simple, for Muslim vote bank! If the Congress knew that it was unconstitutional and still passed that bill, then it will be called a desperate attempt to win the faith of Muslims in a very very cheap way. If they didnt knew that what they were doing is wrong then the CM should have quit. What’s the use of a CM who does not know even our constitution?
This is not just one case where they have shown their real stained faces. When they say Gujarat they should also look at their stained hands of the 1984 Sikh Riots. Jagdish Tytler is an accuse, the case is pending on him in the court and Congress is so shameful in making him a Minister?
When a Muslim is killed at any place they shout at such a loud voice which makes us think again! Why dont they cry when people of other religions die? Why dont they look at the pathetic situation of Kashmiri Pandits who have been evicted from their homelands? These people had been living in the valley for quite a long time in harmony. They never needed Congress’s definition of secularism. Anyone given thoughts to Amarnath Yatra? Many people die of terrorists attacks, Congress never even bothers to look at them. They are being given third class treatment. Such a pathetic situation of India!
Not only is Congress responsible for this drama. Lalu also cant escape his involvement. He too claims himself to be popularizing secularism. According to the party “People should not be be discriminated by means of religion”. But what has Lalu done till now? Nothing else but dividing people in the name of caste. So finally the policy gets stuck in itself. What’s the use of promoting harmony between religions when you are dividing people inside a religion in name of caste? It’s no different from their so called communal counterparts? Howsoever hard you try to change the equations and maths, but 1+2 yields 3 and 2+1 also yields the same. Whether you divide people in name of religion or caste, both have disastrous effects. Both lead to hatred and breaks up the society.

Tata is not just another big company running after money! TATAs started their business somewhere in 1907 when JRD Tata founded the steel plant in Jamshedpur to make India self independent. This was the pioneer steel plant of our country and the first in private sector. TISCO (Tata Iron and Steel Company) still gives a high efficiency and output compared to other steel plants under the SAIL (Steel Authority of India)
Tata’s are not just in steel sector but in numerous others. They include Automobile(TELCO), Salt, Jewelery ,Consultancy (Tata Consultancy Services) and more. It is one of the few group which sees its employees as assets rather than just workers. All trade unions are also satisfied with the administration. Tata’s are also in charity service, you may or may not get enough salary while working with Tata but surely you would get job satisfaction as they provide lots of facilities to its employees.
Once in a interview of current Chairman Ratan Tata, he was asked why was “He rolling out the 1 lakh car” ? The reply was with an emotional touch – “Once I was going through the streets of Jamshedpur in my car. It was raining outside. I saw a family going on a scooter and getting wet all over. At that moment it striked my mind that ‘Cant I do anything for these people?’”. This was the humanity which lies deep rooted inside the Tatas. This is the reason why they have risen so much and why the assets of JRD Tata are intact. Tatas donate a lot of money for charity service. Maybe this is the reason why God is also with them.
Tata is unveiling their 1 lakh car in Auto Expo 08 in New Delhi. It is meant for the people of India,so that each each Indian who till now just dreams of owning a car can make the dream come true. Not just his own dream but also of Ratan Tata. After the 1 lakh car hits the roads of our country Ratan Tata will resign from the post of Chairman to make way for the youngsters. May God be with them!

You may believe or not! India is poised to be the next superpower of this world! Thanks to its huge population of younsters and sharp brained people. Indian Companies have started to shed off its fears and taking strides to make its presence felt all over the world. India is very well equipped with the best brains of the world, we people have strong focus on maths and science, two papers which is very much important for any country to progress.
India is a model for democracy. This model and the stability of the structure is envyed by its neighbours. Take for example the countries in the Indian subcontinent- nearly all countries are reeling under its own internal crisis, coups and military rule except India.
I shall regularly post contents on this blog about the present political situation of India. Am not going to spoil the name of this great country like other journalists who have no other work other than projecting people of Gujarat as butchers. They just ignore the positive aspects and development factors all for the sake of increasing the rating of their news channels.
Jai Hind!
